What is Sound Remedy?

Sound is a vibration, and life is made up of vibrating atoms. The vibrations transmitted can affect us on a cellular level, depending on the instrument. Some sounds can help us transition from "Beta Brain Wave Patterns," or those associated with flight or fight reflexes, anxiety, and concentration, to calming frequencies like "Alpha Wave Patterns (related to relaxation)," "Theta Wave Patterns (related to meditation)," and even "Delta Wave Patterns (related to trance-like states)." This means that simply listening to or playing musical instruments or tunes might help you access more regenerative and peaceful states of mind.

Playing Pacific sounds in Pacific patterns can alter most systems in the body in a positive way. Life switches from the Sympathetic Nervous System (Fight or Flight), which releases cortisol in the body, a very bad stress hormone that suppresses our immune system, raises blood pressure, along with a whole chemical cocktail of negative effects on the body. With sound remedy, we invoke the vibrations to activate the vagus nerve, which affects our mood as well as switching to the parasympathetic nervous system (Rest & Digest). This state sends a code to our body telling you are safe and can begin to heal. We enter this state every night when we sleep, but come out of it when we wake and return to the sympathetic stress system as we go through our day. This is one of the reasons one would have a hard time sleeping. Sound Remedy can help with that as well.

In sound remedy reset, vocal sounds like humming, chanting, singing, and making sounds (e.g., Om) are used to calm down, gain confidence, and develop positivity.  Directly affecting the Vegas Nerve that it controls.

Documentation of Sound Remedy Reset:

The use of sounds as tools for healing is well documented in the study of psychology. Primal sounds used in sound therapy have a direct effect on the nervous system. Sympathetic & Parasympathetic nervous system as well as Vegas Nerve. Subtle sounds and harmonics can stimulate the nervous system and produce special effects to assist one's healing process. However, these are only effective if they are used with appropriate tuning and manner of playing.  This is where my expertise in this field comes into play. Natural sounds can have a very profound effect on mental state. Therefore, they can be utilized to rejuvenate a wide range of psychological problems. The use of natural sounds has been well documented in ancient healing practices, most notably with meditation practices and in Eastern Medicine as a form of treating the mind, body, and spirit.

Tibetan bells, singing bowls, tree flutes, drums, etc., are good examples of ancient sound tools still used today in many modern cultures for meditation purposes. The vast majority of research on sound therapy has been conducted regarding its effects on stress management or relaxation, which seems to plague every human on the planet these days. One of the most popular forms of this therapy is the use of music. The ability to relax after a stressful day at work or in a tense classroom is nothing short of astounding. In addition, studies have shown that it can help people perform better on cognitive tests, remember important information, and concentrate.

Several studies have shown that sound and music can have an emotional impact and cause psychosomatic and physiological changes. For example, music has been shown to improve brain function, lower blood pressure, increase heart rate, and regulate stress hormones.
